As the title said, this was her weekend, but she arbitrarily and single-handedly decided to waive her rights to both children (only one, M16 was sick). I was happy to have my kids (I’d prefer 100% custody), but this is contrary to the judge-signed decree and parenting plan, and it cost me considerable time and expense as I had to rush home from another city to supervise the kids.
Is this just part of being a dad, and should I roll with it, or should I ask her to reimburse expenses for my cancelled plans, or what?
