Yes. I got she isn't a door mat, she can't and won't do anything for me given how poorly I treat her. But if I would just do my job / what's necessary to take car of her; then she would be happy to treat me like a king. It's her nature to be kind and supportive, but she can't unless I do it first.

When I would ask, if the policy is no support until they do it first, aren't I in the same position. She would respond it's my job as the man to lead, to set the temperature of the relationship, and she would follow as the woman.

It's all BS to justify why they aren't doing anything to support you, but still expect and demand you support them.

Mine did all the time…. Good god. “I have given up lady.” It was just her saying that she’s the mother of the kids and she is entitled to every last dime.
