Hey there.

So, I did not know the correct flair, but hey. I have a question about genetics.

It's been quite the amount of times I saw people saying that women were big and burly before, and it was bred out by men because they prefer smaller women in general. Because men did not want the competition of women so they made it so only them were big and strong and muscular.

And it just... doesn't sit right with me.

First of all, except in the case of rape, obviously, mate selection in our species is done by the women. So, if one trait bred out of the gene pool, it would have been smaller stature-built men.

But that's not the main focus. The question I have is about genetics. Because I'm not a scientist at all. But genes just don't work like that, do they? If a big burly man fucks a small, petite woman, both their kids have the possibility to become either big or small, no? It's not like the girl takes her size from the mother, and the biy from his father?

I really want to shut this conversation whenever I see it, so I'd appreciate if someone more versed in genetics could enlighten me.

Thanks!
