If she's anything like the people I know...the older women get, the faster they want to get to the altar (if she hasn't made it there yet).

When women are younger, there's time for being in the moment and having a good time enjoying each other's company. But OMG...the close they get to 40, the more draconian they become. Fun's over. No good times. No excitement. ODB is "about her business" and "doesn't have time to play games." She's trying to see how long that man is going to "make her wait" before she gets to plan her (first) wedding day. That's an incredible amount of pressure, and those women will NEVER understand that...until they're WAY over the hill.

By then, it will be too late.

There's a reason why some cat ladies always end up with runaway cats. Because even they won't deal with her shit.

I feel for these girls, I call them girls because they've never really grown up.

Date with purpose. Date to marry! That's what your 20's are for. You pair-bond with somebody and get married. Instead they become the town bicycles and after they rack up body counts greater than Russia in WW2 they want to settle down.

They can't bond with their husband, as they will always remember the carousel. They are broken... and its sad.
