How should rape allegations be handled in the legal system?

You have to prove it and not only that, need to throughly investigate. You also have to investigate if a claim is genuine, maliciously false or unproven. So, genuine punishment and maliciously false punishment should be equal if not more (because it is much more immoral), including sex offender registration. Unproven should stay as unknown, no one shall be punished over a suspicion. If someone has made multiple accusations and one is found out to be maliciously false, rest of the cases should be taken back to court. Jury is from society and society is gynocentric, jury shall be removed completely in favor of truly neutral proof.

- don't automatically believe a woman just because she is a woman, do thorough investigation
- do not lock the man until he is proven guilty
- in case of a false accusation, punish the accuser the same way you'd punish that rapist

Last time I checked, innocent until proven guilty was supposed to be the standard already.

Pretty much how it's SUPPOSED to work is already how it's SUPPOSED to be handled.

Modern women know just how easy it is to make a false abuse allegation/accusation. It gives them a massive amount of power if not a huge ego boost knowing you can end a man's entire social, professional and basically entire life in an instant by yelling rape and/or domestic violence. It's like a nuke you can summon and throw at a man at any moment any time or day.

Feminists will claim that hardly any SA claims even make the system even after #MeToo and all the push against SA and DA and pretty much any violence against women. In my home country of Mexico, ANY fatality involving women is now labeled as Feminicide even cases involving Man-slaughter (Ha.) and vehicle accidents now. Feminists almost guaranteed for SA allegations to be unequivocally automatically guilty especially with the amount of public pressure and potential backlash against law enforcement, district attorneys, and public officials breathing down their necks to do something about it or risk a mob at this point so I can understand maybe 5% of why they would take these claims that seriously, the rest of 95% is absolutely malicious persecution ☕

Police really don't care to investigate, their only job is to make the arrest and let detectives and the ADA handle you to either charge you or let you go. But not before they sweat you and incarcerate you LEGALLY for 48 hours for the heck of it, if not to make an example out of you. Longbeachgriffy made an excellent skit about this when women lie about SA I really recommend looking it up lol

Guys, there's no hope to change this at this point, I wish I could tell y'all "yup innocent before proven guilty, you'll be fine she's lying through her teeth and they'll see that" because... 1) I understand how much influence societal and political perception has on everyday people and especially a jury

2) the propaganda works extremely well and extremely effective to brainwash people into automatically believing an allegation especially with so much fear of social rejection should they relent or disagree and face being seen as a potential social paraiah. Facts don't win court cases in the legal system, public perception is king and social rejection and backlash is a black cloud hanging over those who don't conform to the agenda.

3) the law and court systems are automatically against you and leave you at an immense disadvantage simply for being a man, because society already sees you as having the potential to do great harm even in the eyes of other men. The law enforcement and judicial system that would see you in chains, ironically almost 80% run by men, is heavily funded and has every incentive to see you behind bars to keep the machine running and keep racking in cash. Why would they care about your innocence when you're worth $45k a year in government bonds and funds, you're not a man, you're a cash cow of tax payer funds.

I don't even think it's that much of a bad thing or a stretch to avoid women all together, just be careful and watch your ass. Leave the love goggles at home because ANY girl you date or marry has the potential to ruin you.

Allegations should be required to be submitted to the police first, and otherwise not divulged to the public. The trial should be held in secret and only publicly shared if the defendant is found guilty. This is to prevent ruining the reputation of the defendant should they be found not guilty.

put the accuser/victim in a shelter and investigate the claims properly? if they lied charge them harshly? idk in word vs word situations we are pretty much helpless...

Treat it like any other assault. Rape shouldn't be considered any differently than physical battery.

All the laws are already in place. There's nothing holy about the sex organs of females. It's assault, nothing more, nothing less.

We need a similar system to the sex offender register. It could be called the "False Sex Offence Register" and people who have been caught making false claims will be put on it and treated like a sex offender.

I've read a few of the comments below - innocent till proven guilty, look at the evidence etc which is the right way according to the written laws but in practice/ reality is other way & liar gets away with it.

In my case it was guilty, most likely before start of hearing after deliberately ignoring most of my oral/ physical evidence & ex got encouraged by the judge saying there was controlling behaviour so reported to the police 3months after the judgement, this after saying at trial she had reported it to the police many months before the trial. The judge even lied, allowed fraud, bribery, believed the ex that she sent money to an a/c that did not exist & that I travelled back in time & deprived my mum of her life savings & made her destitute pensioner so the ex could benefit. DJ also approved a draft order that was not was not consistent with the hearing & refused to change it. And a lot more lies & false systems allowed over evidence. In Watford UK.

One issue is that the courts and police should enforce anonymity in regards to the defendant. Even if the case is proven false or inconclusive, the media attention is highly likely to destroy the man's life.

Another is the blatantly partisan punishments administered by the courts. Women who falsely accuse usually walk away scot-free. This is unjust.
