I started trying to be pretend to be like an asshole but suddenly girls just seem to go away from me.For example, I always underestimate them , hit them and I just don't know what to talk about to them (They seem uncomfortable to open up)

Some of my friends who become nice to girls somehow gets the girl (I mean like their attention and time). I thought not putting girl on pedestal would help but not in my case. Did I do something wrong?

Plus, my social skills suck. I can only have a great interaction with my closest friends and to other acquaintances somehow I just feel uncomfortable. Are there also any good way to help? I mean people say to practice. I did talk to a lot of people but none of them seem to keen on the idea of hanging out with me and opening up.
