No regrets. It's like going through a much needed surgery. It hurts, but life gets soooo much better after it.

Once i filed. I kept marching. Never looked back.

I stuck with it for way too long. The upside was I knew I’d done everything I could so there were no second thoughts afterwards. I stayed with a confirmed bachelor buddy for a few weeks and it was so liberating to be in a chill place and it really helped me reset and make the adjustment to drama free living.

No real regrets but, if you have kids, not being with them on certain holidays or birthday due to schedules is so fucking brutal. Been divorced for a few years and still sat in my car crying because I wasn’t with my older one yesterday on his birthday. That part hasn’t gotten easier. Don’t get me wrong, going back hasn’t once crossed my mind but it does suck still sometimes

It was difficult getting things started. Once things were moving, well, honestly, they just kept getting worse for two years.

But after that, once I popped out on the other side, the clouds parted, sun rained down, and choirs sang.

No regrets yet. Ex moved out last Sunday and waiting on hearing date. First week adjusting, I have been sober and kind of in AA for 8 years, went to trauma therapist for a year about 4 years ago and practice meditation. These all help with processing thoughts and emotions. Regrets have sometimes hit, but more about how I could have setup better boundaries, asserted my position, taken more ownership of problems and solutions in the marriage.
