Gents - I see a lot of posts lately regarding the disbelief we have about our wife’s actions during the end of the marriage and during divorce.

The title phrase originates from a play written by William Congreve called “The Mourning Bride” which was written in 1697

1697 gentlemen.

The Bible, circa 7th century B.C:

Proverbs 21:19 “Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife.”

7th century B.C. Gentlemen.

We could all google and come up with a million other famous and well documented examples of how vindictive and brutal woman can be.

A very recent example is Amber Heard, who to everyone’s bewilderment somehow managed to make Johnny Depp look like the sane and normal person during their trial.

Why is it that despite countless warnings from our forefathers that we are shocked and cannot cope with a woman doing something evil to us? They are human, just like us.

Why is brutality and evil from a man normalized (which happens all the fucking time) but we cannot believe it when the perpetrator is a woman.

We were all warned, literally for thousands of years. None of us listened and nobody was prepared. Why did we think we were special and it could never happen to us?
