I have made friends with my girl coworkers. As an ex red pill I made a solid effort to learn how to be normal around girls and try to make friends with them. But it’s been difficult. Luckily they are all in healthy relationships and it makes it easier to not see them as someone on “the sexual marketplace.”

Part of me feels like it’s red pill even making a post like this because it’s not like normal, but I had a really good night at the bar with my friends that are girls. They invited me and it’s not something I’ve ever experienced before.

It’s weird because now I feel like it’s important to be able to be friends with someone you would date. It just makes sense. So I needed to learn how to make friends with girls. Now that I am friends with them I also can’t help but see them for how beautiful they are. Now I’m learning what it’s like to ride that line. And it’s weird and I think at the stage I am at it would be very difficult for me to not want to pursue one in particular if she were single.

Now I’m asking myself is there anything wrong with that and I think there’s not anything wrong with that. But since she isn’t I can respect it and pursue friendship instead and simply appreciate that for what it is. Because now I have people in my life that I feel genuinely care about me and I love them in a very unique way from what I am used to.

And people can call me all the names they want, but I think making these friends is one of the best things to have ever happened to me. Plus who knows, maybe they can help pair me with someone else right for me.
