A lot of women/ western feminists say that mens issues are "trivial" - because those issues don't directly impact them - so they just don't care.

As it's not about them.

Western feminism, as a movement, has major main character syndrome.

If any particular issue isn't western women/feminism related or benefits them - they dismiss,minimize, ignore or mock it - likely out of fear of another issue/movement distracting from all the attention they get.

Feminism is also big business and brings in big money for/through companies, consultants , government grants ext - so other issues having the spotlight threaten to detract from their payday.

They are particularly famous for this behaviour whenever mens issues, in particular, come to media/social attention - as men having issues/problems runs contrary to the false narrative they are constantly pushing.

If men have important/big problems too - then the cracks start to appear on their narrative.

Women feeling men are rude is often men just speaking about something they are passionate about. You can’t tell them they are wrong because it is their feelings, so I choose carefully what I share and who with.

Boys often can’t even get attention for the abuse they suffer from religious perverts and others in positions of authority. It’s almost like there is utter bias against male suffering from the people who are supposed to be on our side. Narcissism seems much more of a problem than acknowledged - and it doesn’t discriminate. It affects every gender identity.

This U.S. mama does not see either of those as trivial. Now, as a female, I can't say the subject of circumcision really entered my brain much. I knew it happened but had never given much thought to why, when, how. Then I gave birth to a surprise boy (didn't find out the sex via ultrasound) and had only a few days to make potentially one of the biggest childhood medical decisions of his life. I researched and I was disgusted. He's almost 4 now, intact, and has had no issues related to not having cosmetic surgery as a week old baby. I did have to explain to his pediatrician and my own mama not to force the foreskin back for diaper changes. Apparently neither of them knew that you have to wait for that to start on its own. Now I'm trying to spread what I learned to pregnant ladies everywhere.

Patriarchy hurts us all. It hurts men . It hurts women. It hurts humans Feminism became a fight to be a part of a patriarchal system. The issue is complex.. Sad to see genders fighting eachother based on past hurt.. that is exactly what the powers that be want. Divide and conquer.

I think both exist but in different ways. Expectations based on gender are oppressive and not exclusive to one side. These things you say are so completely unfair and wrong! But I don’t think they mean that things like catcalling etc aren’t still wrong. Forcing people into anything is wrong especially if it’s a decision forced upon you based on the way you were born.
