Background: I filed over 6 months ago and had our first temporary order mediation a few months ago that went nowhere. She made wild accusations, stonewalled, and we finally had an impasse. I decided not to move out for the sake of kids and it's been OK for the most part. We were assigned an amicus attorney and (finally) have another round of mediation next week.

Situation: The amicus attorney finished their assessment of her abuse claims and (obviously) found them to be baseless. They recommended another temporary order mediation next week. It's frustrating because we are still cohabitating and it's for good reason because if I had moved out, I would not have been able to see the kids for this entire time.

Anyway, my position hasn't changed and I will be making the same offer. I want the (Texas) standard possession and a close to 50/50 split and that's what the court will assign anyway.

It's ridiculous how long this process takes. It's been a frustrating (and expensive) journey.
