This post is an update to the previous one about recent changes to the subreddit, many of which appear to have been Reddit-wide changes.

We are still sorting through what adjustments we can make to get things where people can post and comment but where we also aren't a repository for people who keep violating Reddit's new content policy.

(They have been cracking down and mods have noticed users at this subreddit who were committing bannable offenses that had just been REMOVED by Reddit Admins.)

To reiterate:

  • When all this started and the sub ground to a halt, the mods here hadn't changed any of the settings. Things just stopped working.
  • We are trying to get things working but we have to balance that with observation of Reddit's Content Policy. Again, I'm fucking serious, you guys. Go read Reddit's Content Policy.

Because of the Content Policy, this sub should probably be an 18+ subreddit. People come here asking for advice about getting laid.

That could easily violate the content policy if kids are reading this stuff.

The sub has been changed to Restricted, which simply means that before people can Post or Comment here, they have to:

  • Subscribe
  • And request to become an Approved User (You should see something for this in Community Info in the sidebar.)

Just a heads up, if you aren't aligned with the Rules of this sub, you won't be Approved. Or if you'll lose Approval if you have it.

So read the damn Rules. Open each rule up and read it in full.
