Mostly, this sub is intended for guys that are way behind schedule on the whole dating thing. As a high schooler, you're right about where you should be in the whole learning process, so don't get hung up on the details. Just give it your best shot and bank on the fact that she is nervous and awkward too!

The one piece of advice I'll give is that you need to stop trying to conceal your interest. Someone has to show their romantic interest first and in this society, it's pretty much always the guy. It's nerve-wracking and it's a level of vulnerability that you've probably never experienced before, but... It's an essential part of the process. Ya just have to act in spite of your fears and go for it. The sooner you do, the more likely she is to respond favorably.

It will be hard to continue in depth conversations with her without being able to reach her directly and singularly.

So next time you do get that rare occasion, say something like this “hey I’m going to [do something related to your shared interest], wanna come along”?

Then she’ll either say yes or no, and that will be your first clue about whether she’s being polite or if she’s potentially interested in you the same way.

If she says yes, then that’s when you say something like, “cool, well it’s on [whatever date] so let’s stay in touch about it, can I get your [number or whatever social media is most common for your age and location]?”

And go from there. Main thing is when reaching out don’t send multiple messages at the same time, send one or two and then wait for her to respond, let her set the pace and she won’t feel pressured or ignored.

And then when your out with her, focus on just having fun. You can tell her that she looks beautiful when you first see her, and you can say that you had a great time with her tonight and want to do it again at the end, but don’t confess all your feelings at once. Let the relationship grow, and demonstrate your feelings as much with your actions as your words.

i know you'll hate what i'm about to say, but you need to communicate your feelings to her. This doesn't necessarily mean just straight up telling her, but she needs to know what you want out of the relationship some way or another. You could tell her directly, or you could subcommunicate it to her. If you get rejected, then move on. plenty of fish in the sea :))

It doesnt take 2 weeks to get a girl to be attracted to you.

Likely she was into you within the first few minutes of meeting you. But you bored her by just talking and talking and talking and talking (worse yet about boring banal shit) but making no move whatsoever

At this point she sees you as nothing more than an asexual object, a unic. Move on before she ghosts you alltogether and causes you to feel really bad.

And the next chick you like; find some why to get into her pants. And quickly. Because that is the way to a chicks heart.

You engaged your emotions too early, there is no confirmed affection between both of you, right? Chill out, common interests and cute face are not a deal maker, you would rather not idealise your potential partner, for your own good.

Also, don't bring school topics too often, it is clearly sending a friendly vibe and is completely non-sexual most of the time. Focus on your deeper connection and sneak some sexual content to your conversations. You need to somehow take you out from "college friends" context, meet with her outside.
