So I (19M) have always been shy and awkward around women, but after lurking on this sub for a while I managed to muster up the courage to ask out this girl I knew from a class on instagram yesterday. I was straight up with her and told her that she was cute and that I'd love to hang out with her sometime. Her response was her asking me if we had a class together and I told her yeah, but afterwards I was left on sent. Honestly even though it didn't go anywhere, I'm pretty happy that I did that because I would never have had the courage to do so if it weren't for this sub. I know that my approach was pretty bad, especially since I didn't even bother trying to start up a convo before asking her out but I'll take it as a lesson learned
