Last weekend I was at a small private event at a hotel. This event was for people in tech networking and recruiting people to come to a big event later this year. There were a interesting speakers but one of them was a United States congressman.

He spoke for about 5 minutes but it was incredible. For some context, this person is short, balding, middle aged, and an ethnicity that is stereotyped to be conventionally unappealing.

This man was able to get people riled up, cheering, shouting, clapping and laughing. There were grown men who were slamming their hands on the table like excited children.

In a short amount of time he “seduced” all of us without speaking to anyone of us. It was truly an eye-opening experience.
