Hi Guys,

Last weekend, I went out again. Unfortunately; I went out a little early, and got drunk the entire night. But I was with plenty of girls. I learned my mistake, which is going out, a little to early. This weekend I'll be heading out around midnight, and won't get completely wasted.

Last Saturday, I saw this girl, I asked her if she wanted to chat outside since it's loud. My friend was with me as well. She said, 'sure', and came. So, we went outside, and this dude came up and said she's with me. Now there was almost a fight that broke out. I'm currently in a doctorate program, and I don't want to get arrested over a thot.

How would you descalate, or, handle the situation. When the dude saw my friend, he backed off. But a fist-fight was going to break out.
