Im same height as you and got into game 10 months ago. Before getting into cold approach, my dating life was abysmal. It made me borderline depressed. Now, Im pretty happy with my life. Ive hooked up with many girls since starting game and now I have two FWB who I met via pickup.

You once were younger, but 28 is still quite young. Even guys at 38 or 48 find love and start families.

Look at it that way: If you move ahead an inch every day, where would you be in a month? Where would you be in a year? In two years?

Your past or even your current situation might be bad, but you can always decide to look and move ahead.

I usually don't comment on Reddit but I'm making an exception today. You really need to find some hobbies that will force you to leave your house. I'm sure you heard this recommendation before, but get a gym membership if you don't already have one and stick with a proper diet and workout routine. Although you won't get taller at 28, you can still develop a great physique and be seen as the "jacked" dude instead of the 5'6 guy. Be sure to take progress pictures to keep track of your gains and hopefully use them to motivate yourself to continue going to the gym.

It's unfortunate that you experienced some bullying in your childhood but remember, you can still be bullied in adulthood. I'd recommend joining a martial arts class of your choice and sticking with it for at least 2 years. You can't change the past but at least you'll gain confidence knowing you can defend yourself. Hopefully, this will help with your lack of eye contact.

My last piece of advice is to learn how to dance. I highly recommend Latin dances like salsa or bachata. You should look for a local dance studio and sign up for a beginner salsa or bachata class. Fair warning, you're going to have a steep learning curve but it will pay off. They'll usually make you switch partners a couple of times each class. Try not to hit on any of the girls unless they're showing heavy interest because you don't want to ruin your reputation at the studio. Instead, use the dance socials held around the city to get to know other dancers. Even if you don't meet a girl you can date, you now have a skill that will be appreciated by almost any woman. You can even take your date to a dance social and teach her how to dance.

OP don't think that women will solve the insecurities you have about yourself. They won't. I garuntee it. You are hoping in something that will not:

1 change your outlook. 2 change your past.

Both 1 and 2 sound like they are pretty shit. And I'm really really sorry life has given you a shit hand. It's hard. It must seem like you are destined to die miserable and alone. Perhaps you are. Perhaps you aren't. Who knows. Perhaps you can shape your destiny and perhaps you cannot. Does getting women have anything to do with these questions? I don't think so.

Do yourself a small favor and avoid conflating the two. It helped me be slightly less miserable. Maybe it will help you.

Done, that’s all you have to do. Even if you don’t necessarily believe it at first, just start telling everybody that you’re the shit and you’re confident in your shit and everyone will just start to believe it..

After a little while yes you still have to try but you’ll be confident and youll have what’s called game. From then on every single time that it works it will increase your confidence hp+1 and your confidence will snowball into actual confidence ( heroic)
