It seems like your actual problem is the fact that her ex is her manager at work. This is what you should focus on.
As for the clothes - no, it does not necessarily mean anything. I have my ex boyfriend’s tshirt which is one of my favourite things to wear at home. It’s so… worn in, big and comfortable. Wish I had stolen one of those thick big hoodies, can’t seem to find a good one anywhere.
