So I was talking to this girl for the first time the other day. I really wasn't massively attracted to her, but wouldn't say no either. It was a completely unexpected occurance. I asked her for her name, and unconsciously placed my hand on hers. She responded by grabbing it and went on to hold it for a while, almost she was looking for an escalation! I was caught completely offguard. I carried on talking but slowly disconnected the hand. The problem was I've seen her around, but my intention at the beginning was platonic. I just sat down for a conversation and had no intention of escalation. It felt ridiculously quick as I hadn't even gotten to know her.

Am I right in saying touching hand is actually a very good one of Kino and gauging interest. I felt I probably should have read something into it immediately and went on hard with the flirting.
