Never, ever compliment them on their looks. First because it makes you look like an idiot with nothing intelligent to say, besides the obvious. Hot girls are used to men telling them that all the time. They know they are attractive to men. They spot that as an opening from experience and most times get annoyed by that approach. Also, complimenting them on their looks can be embarrassing to some women. Imagine you’re approached by a mediocre girl and the first words out of her mouth to you are, “hey, you’re cute”. How do you react to that? It puts you on the spot. Because it says, hey I’ve already checked you out, let’s talk about you. I mean, what are you supposed to respond with? Thank you? Then where are you supposed to go from there? Lastly, men that approach like that look shallow and desperate. It takes the power away from you and puts her on a pedestal immediately. Try being more clever. It’s much more interesting to talk about her umbrella than her looks.

In Western countries this no longer works and that's why you need "Game"

Girls get complimented on their looks 100+ a day..

On the street, on their text messages, on they Snap, on their Instagram posts, on their Instagram stories, in their DMs

Girls get compliments ALL DAY LONG

Plus girls hate getting complimented on their born looks..

These are the reasons on why you shouldn't be giving these types of compliments.

To be honest I compliment girls all the time. ( I am 6,4 muscular white dude so I get away with a lot)I notice most men I’ve seen have a problem showing sexual intent. Something as simple as you look cute I wanted to meet you is a compliment and you can display some intent.

Now I think it all depends the frame you say it from. If your a needy creepy dude with bad eye contact it will be horrible. If the interaction is going well I compliment about her to her friends. I say things like where did you find this girl she’s so much fun. There’s no right or wrong answer to this in my opinion.

Compliments on looks are relatively low effort and don't really work because all it says is you're trying hard to get her (and most likely every other woman) into bed with the same generic compliments in which the conversation will end with "thank you."

However, if you compliment on her work, her personality traits or how something she did affected you, that is much more engaging and starts a conversation.
