theres a lot of bad advice here, sometimes it gets upvoted. there's a lot of good advice here, sometimes it gets downvoted. but the wiki is solid. and the posts that actually follow the rules are usually solid.

unfortunately a lot of the rules get violated and no one does anything about it. r/askseddit seems to be dead.

and very unfortunately a lot of incels, groomers, and misogynists have migrated here to spew hate at women and spread their toxic worldview even tho most of their 'advice' (when its not just pointless ranting) is actually really terrible as pickup advice

In my opinion the only person who can offer you real solid advice is yourself. You know your flaws and problems better than anyone else. Especially on a random internet forum.

I think most guys come here as a means to distract themselves from the real work that needs to be done. No you won't learn how to get laid from a subreddit and no you won't game your way out of being unattractive.

Your energy and time is best spent in improving yourself so you can attract women then trying things out for yourself.

My advice for the guys here is this.

Stop chasing women for a year, literally forget about it, you are likely way further behind than you realize and chasing women will be a colossal waste of time until you address these issues.

You need to realize that women want men. They want you to be strong, mentally and physically, they want you to be useful, they want you to be driven and ruthless. They don't want you to be nice, they don't want you to be their friend, they don't want you to be a shoulder to cry on. Learn what really drives attraction for women because it's likely not what you have been told, it's much more primal and visceral.

Any advice that doesn't initially address this is total bs in my opinion.
