It can work for a first impression. However in scenarios beyond 1-night stand a girl will quickly start looking for signs that there is in fact substance there. If she finds it, many girls will be fine with a person who lets other people talk all the time. On the other hand if you never actually back that image with some depth, after a few days most will just assume that you are a kind of person who stays silent hoping it will help them to pass for someone smart.

Also: make a good impression - yes. Potentially have sex - yes. Connect - no. You have to speak some right things to actually connect with someone. (There can be exceptions for desperate girls who need a shoulder, but it's not something you can rely on)

Basically, the further your image is from the actual you, the less time it will typically hold. So ask yourself, what kind of relations you are actually looking for, and whether the role you are playing contradicts your regular behavior (i.e. whether it will be a disappointment for a person who saw the image first to see your actual self)

it can work or not. just make sure you follow the actual fundamentals too tho. signal intent, build attraction, escalate with consent. personality isnt a huge factor as long as you know how to game
