I was at Costco doing my usual grocery haul when one the employees walked past me and locked eyes. I noticed she was showing strong IOI’s so the next time I saw her, I told myself I’d get her number. Next time I saw her, I approached her as she was cleaning the floor and while she was taking a little break, I said, “Hey I’m just gonna stop you and say hi. What’s your name?” she gave me her name and she asked mine and told her mine. Then I asked for her number and she said, “that was pretty bold but sure”. Got her number and walked away. It was brief, I didn’t build rapport but I’m pretty proud of myself for going up to her and getting her number with customers watching the entire time.
