When most women reject you, they still expect you to stay in orbit and be a good little attention provider for when she's got a couple of hours with nothing going on. You basically just rejected that default and damaged her ego. And then she resorts to classic female manipulation tactics to keep you around.

Because she isn’t mature enough to realise that your friendship was fake. She still thinks it was a real friendship, and that as such, just because she doesn’t like you romantically doesn’t mean the friendship should end.

Of course, you don’t understand because you somehow think it’s clear enough to her that you were faking and that being her friend was just a means to and end, in other words. become friends to get in her pants , and if you don’t succeed then move on and stop pretending.

So of course she is mad about it, you are basically suggesting that you were faking benign her friend all this time. If you weren’t faking being her friend then you wouldn’t have a problem just being friends

It’s hurtful to lose what you considered to be a friend, it has nothing to do with using you or anything, she is basically mad that she lost a friend or that she was tricked into believing that you were her friend.

Girls like attention a lot. I'm convinced they like it more than sex actually. So when you want nothing to do with them they still value your attention and are upset when they no longer have a source for that attention.

You're making the right move, I personally don't see the point in being friends with a girl unless it's like your cousin or something. If she's not sexually interested in me then I'm not going to stay around her.

She doesn’t see you as a potential sexual partner. But still wants you hanging around. Sometimes this can lead to a beneficial relationship. As in she’ll introduce you, and even talk you up to other girls she’s friends with. This is a good version of male female friendship. Sometimes they want nothing other than your attention, and occasionally to do them favors like carry heavy shit, hang a picture in their house etc. this is the bad version of a male female friendship.

If she was making out to you prior to this. Something happened that changed her mind to only seeing you as a friend. It could be a number of things, but most often you didn’t escalate fast enough.
