Don’t talk about past relationships on a first date, it’s such a mistake that both guys and girls will make. I’ve been out with a good number of people who will just talk about their ex a lot and honestly, it’s very annoying and honestly a bit rude.

For one, it shows you’re not over it. If the person you’re with thinks you’re still not over your past relationship it’s a huge turn off because then they may not have as much interest in pursuing anything.

In addition, talking about a past relationship a bunch makes it seem like you’re only going out right now to replace that person, not because you’re actually interested in dating them.

Finally, it’s just annoying, you’re not there to hear about the other persons past problems, you’re there to get to know someone and have a good time, talking about a past relationship makes the mood so much less chill.

I mean it’s okay to mention a past relationship maybe 1 time, but much more and it can definitely be a problem. At least this is my personal opinion on this.
