As a female college student, I would maybe say approach in the cafeteria or library rather then just walking around campus. It would be more awkward to follow a girl while walking to class or even if she was interested she might be running late for work/class so she can’t talk. If she is already somewhere it puts less pressure and allows you to talk for a bit before giving your number

just walk up and show intent let them know from the jump you think their cute and see where it goes from there. You won't get in trouble as long as your respectful and bow out when it's uncomfortable for either of you. Theres no hard and fast rule anyone can tell you here that will work for all girls because all of them are different and like different things. Some don't mind you just walking up and talking others prefer to meet guys through friends or class you will never know unless you approach. Just approach and don't be deterred by a couple of failures.

It is fine to approach. But do not do it with an intent. Approach to make friends not to have romantic relationship with her. If something happens then is fine.

Don't pick up women in collage campus especially if you are student there and you have no experience in PUA. It is bad idea.

First thing, college is an awesome spot to meet people. I totally get that the ideal scenario is some gorgeous girl drops her books and you swoop in to help her pick them up or something like that, or maybe you get partnered up in a Gen Ed class or something, but in reality, if you want to talk and meet new people, you need to talk to and meet new people.

The best locations are those where you have a chance to talk to the person for a bit. So talking to them while they’re walking somewhere is actually not a good idea unless you for some reason are walking the same way. Instead, I’d recommend the library, cafetera/dining, local coffee shops, and things like that. Of course, learn to take a hint. If a girl has her headphones in or is zeroed in on her task, leave her be. And please, for the love of god, don’t approach them from behind or from out of the shadows, or anything possibly creepy or threatening like that.

But you’d be surprised at how open people are to meeting new people. Just have confidence and don’t let the bad experiences keep you from trying. Also, you 100% have to get a number or a social media add or something because in a large area like a college, you can’t assume you’ll run into them that frequently.
