Dude I’m on the same boat. I’ve had it happen multiple times where I’ve gotten a girl’s number, the energy was great in person, but once we text they just go ghost. I’m not sure if it’s an anxiety thing or they were caught up in the moment or what.

Saying “you chose the day” wasn’t great. Apart from women wanting some one who leads you pretty much have her all the power over the relationship. She can either reschedule or ghost you like now. Don’t waste time with flakers either

As the other comment mentioned, learn to go with the flow, Do not invest more thought in it for now. And not chasing the shadow of your ideal scenarios.

With time you will learn to accept the changes of plans. Letting go is a lifelong skill in life.

If someone offers a raincheck, unless I’m extremely busy (and I’m IB it gets that’s way) I always get back to you but I’m just one woman.

I’d just move on to others for now and if she circles back to you then go on your date. Of course you could send her a casual message sometime next week but I wouldn’t do anything more.

Hit her up on Wednesday or Thursday if you think you can meet her next weekend.

I never give 2nd chances if they flake on first date.

Also for a reschedule or date setup I give them 2 day options so I don't seem like a loser who has no life, and I never give them friday or saturday unless I know they will fuck 100%. Eg. "I'm free tuesday or thursday next week"

Just wait a few days and call her. Ask if everything is okay with said family emergancy and just chat. It's not a big deal. She had a family emergency and that is probably over consuming her mind. If she doesn't answer give it some more time. If no response wait a day and then text if everything is okay. If no response then move on for a while and try in like a week. It could be her dad or mom in the hospital. She probably wouldn't want to talk.

I always put “hope everything is alright/hope you’re ok, I’ll see you around” and then never txt back. If she does txt back then you have to be put very little effort in the date. Go somewhere close to or if possible at your place. Nothing fancy.
