Porn addiction makes you see women as objects, sex as an objective, and your dick size as the level of your confidence. I've been watching porn since I was 10, and I can tell you, it was the biggest regret of my life. I've reflected and just forego sex as the end all be all of my reasoning for a relationship. Also working on myself is one of the reason why I'm able to get over my addiction, but it's still here, and I'm still trying to end it.

Reflect on yourself, and see what mistakes you've made. Once you admit what mistakes you've made, work on them. That journey is part of making the person you're gonna be in the future.

Yeah it’s a double edged sword cause the amount of dopamine it gives you is crazy but it’s not worth it in the long run. Porn is worse than masturbation

Feel you on that one. I'll feel super confident and then when I relapse I feel like shit and low and I don't want to talk to anyone. But on the days when, I have gone without porn for weeks I feel on top of the world and can talk to anyone.

Im not trying to down anyone or anything like that because to each their own. But i discovered porn when i was about 10 and jacking off has been a daily thing since, longest i went without doing it is about maybe a week. But ive talked with guys about this same thing and honestly I dont get it how stopping would improve any of that and to me I think its just another mind fuck or placebo, or maybe jus something wrong with me because. Ive had those feelings kinda, feeling guilt and all that, and i just mentally tell myself u still the fucking man have a smoke.and beer and proaly have a 2nd round.

i have a wife, and still to this day she cant keep up with me, my side chick cant, but i love how they try. I do believe it is mental thing and that you have to constantly better ur self mentally than put urself down when those feelings arise. But like the guys i spoke to who have mentioned this, i tell em its about mind of matter, mind over body. My decision making skils, confidence, and all that have just sharpened over the years. Im in a supervisor position and make tough calls everyday and ive been gettin promoted and the like, although i do practice on working and strengthening my mentality, i dont want say everyday but constantly, meditating, introspection, retrospection and improving my thoughts positively. And im talking to another woman i just met not to long ago. And for those who think im doing wifey wrong were swingers, but thats a different story.

I think strengthing ur mentally regardless of anything is always the key, stay humble stay resilient. Mind over body and matter.

Well, I dont consider that porn is as healthier as eating an apple everyday but surely is not a demon's work either, like a lot of people say.

I think its good for you for this specific problem to start reducing it, but dont hate it either because you will eventually fall into it someday an you'll feel guilty by no reason. That feeling of guiltiness is pretty horrible and its good to you to avoid it since it will probably lower your confidence bit by bit.

Nofappers movement have his truths but I dont recommend to follow it because you will end up hating a natural relief of the hornyness we all as a man have by default.

This is REAL!! It is HUGE factor in my relationship right now. I watch it every now and then. I mean no harm in that. However, my s/o is addicted to it. I've asked them to stop and they told me they did. When I would ask them if they watched any that day, the response was always no. Liar! Straight to my face liar! Again says they will stop, blah blah blah. Guess what? Liar again. I don't mind the point watching. I get off on it at times myself. But why lie. Good luck with trying to stop.
