You guys will either love this or hate this. I spent the last year trying to get a better job, take the next step in my career, get more responsibilities, branch out, all that good stuff. It was quickly apparent to me that if I wanted one of these jobs, I had to go out and get it, no one was going to hand it to me. No surprise there, and also no surprise that dating and seduction are like that.
Here's the thing though - we talk about both climbing the work ladder and seduction as being competitive, ruthless, like a predator vs prey type thing. But that's not how my experience with it went at all - I wasn't "hunting" employers down like they were some kind of prey and sabotaging the competition. Instead I spent time working on my skills that I knew employers would want to see, showing them off, and learning to be confident in my abilities. In the end I got the job and not because I "hunted" it. I demonstrated to them that by hiring me we could start a mutually beneficial arrangement, I was confident that I could do what they asked and more, and I let my work speak for itself.
I feel it's the same with seduction. You're not hunting people down and luring them in. You're demonstrating that they could enter a mutually beneficial arrangement with you and you're confident that you're good enough and better than your competition. Idk, I feel like this is obvious to some, eye opening to others. I feel like if you get into the predator/prey mindset too much, it'll just come off as creepy.
