Guys, guys, guys. What's so hard to figure out here about what women want?

They want you to be strong, but show weakness. They want you to be confident, but not arrogant. They want you to be protective, but vulnerable. They want you to be determined, but be spontaneous. They want you to take care of yourself, but not be into yourself. They want you to be humorous, but not a joker. They want you to be successful, but not gaudy. They want you to show leadership, but not be a tyrant. They want you to show emotions, but not be emotional. They want you to have strength, but not use it.

Modesty in a job interview. Not a date.

While being modest is certainly a AFC trait you can easily come off as self centered and pervy if you arent.

That line between confidence and arrogance puzzles me. I've always erred on the side of humility, even in job interviews and stuff like that. I just didn't think it was that unattractive.
Let's say someone compliments you on some skill or ability you take pride in. What's the correct response? How do you not sound arrogant, but not too modest either?

Well, I'm always aware of new 'scientific studies' because they're usually bs, but this sounds about right. Note that modesty is not an attractive trait (big surprise, right?) but neither is arrogance. Both connote people with inferiority complexes. Strive to be assertive and confident.
