I'm an engineering lead, I'm well compensated ($3xxx,xxx), but I'm worried about people going along with whatever I say because I'm fit, attractive, outspoken, and a natural leader. If they do what I say and I'm wrong, about a hundred people will die horribly (medical device field). No, the regulatory agencies will not save us, they don't know shit.

Ironically this has made me shut up more at work and be less of a leader because I know that 90% of the time people will do what I say, and it scares me.

Anyone else deal with this?
