girls give out numbers all the time when they dont ever have interest. its alot easier to give out a number and ignore than to reject face to face.

Don't send that last text you thought about sending. That is horrible. Just move on. People don't always say no outright. It is less awkward to give your number and then not respond than it is to crush some person right up front :P

The only text you should send her is to make plans. Otherwise call and do that, but leave txting and calling for after you hang again. just my opinion.

On to the next one. Keep her name in the phone in case you get a txt later at some point with the old "sorry, i was out of town", and you dont have to give the old "Who's this?"

Be sure to label her in the contacts with where you met her and any details that will fit in your contact card.

either what vampireslayer suggested, or, if you get bored, reopening them a while later with something like 'man, you're such a player! typical hard-to-get-i-never-text-back-chick :P hey by the way, random funny question' Do this in a way that you're flipping the script, acting like she's the player and you're the 10, but not too needy, as you'll give too much power away.

Doing this ain't gonna be solid, but it'll give you a chance at getting the number back to life. I've done this successfully (mainly to blow it in the next few texts, but yeah :P)

Number closes mean nothing. All you're doing is collecting numbers to call back later and beg for dates, which is called "telemarketing." You need to study the Time Bridge concept. If you give the girl a reason for wanting more contact with you, if you have already planned a Day 2 that excites her, she will respond to even a simple contact to meet up.

You will quickly realize that numbers mean nothing. You should focus on your approach and interaction. If your approach and interaction is bad, they won't give you their number. If your approach is mediocre, they will give you their number but forget about you. If it's ok, they will respond to a low investment ping, but won't go beyond that. If it's good, they will respond beyond that, and may show for a date, I would say 35% chance. If it's great, 50%-70% they will meet up for a day2. If it's amazing, they will chase you and sometimes ask for your number before you ask for theirs, I've had this like 3-4 times, but I blew it with bad text game. Funny thing to note, if your approach is amazing, and they're chasing you, you could probably fclose them that day, so if you have an amazing approach only get their number if logistics don't work out.

So stop worrying about texting for now, read the texting sidebar to cover the basics, and focus more on your approach, conversation, kino, rapport, etc..

Flakey or non responsive numbers are usually caused by lack of comfort in the interaction. You can have a girl "attracted" to you but if you don't run any comfort game at least a little, MOST LIKELY she will not reply back/ meet you. Girls needs to feel that you like them for their "sexiness" as well as their personality. So LEARN FROM THIS and next time, talk about something personal-ish. GL

Since OP's situation is quite close to mine, I feel like posting this here. Friday night I go out with friends. I meet a HB8 and HB6. I hit it off with the HB8 and leave with her and a friend to another party. I escalate the kino and she eventually asks for my number, I give it to her, she calls me. Number close. I never close fully with her, but leave feeling pretty good about the situation. Next day, I text her and she doesn't respond. It doesn't bother me too much and I meet a HB7 that night and bounce right back. But seriously, why would a girl ask for your number, then not even text back?
