I think girlfriends are off limits. Put yourself in the guys shoes. There are plenty of single women, why go after one that's taken?

This is what i suggest you do:

Introduce your friend to the community, help him to understand the social dynamics that will help him to keep this girl his, so that no one else (including yourself) will be able to game her into cheating on your friend. Teach the guy about game, teach him about how to keep his girlfriend attracted to him. He's your friend, and i'm sure you'd want to see him happy.

As for how to get her disinterested? Become her friend, not her interest. I'm guessing you know how to do that, most guys on this reddit have 20+ years of making friends with woman so we're all pretty much experts on the subject, and if not, make a new reddit: Unseddit
