Or you could do like someone here said, not apologize for being who you are and simply find someone who is compatible with you instead of being a desperate, extremely needy man who will do anything go get laid due to extreme scarcity. You can download tinder now and other apps. You can travel. Hell if you are that desperate then go to a country where prostitution is legal and just buy a prostitute you fancy. Yea. As a girl I have to call BS. Maybe it’s because I’m older now and don’t like all the games, but I appreciate someone being upfront and showing interest. Saying “next week let’s get sushi and go to the movies” isn’t wearing your heart on your sleeve. It’s showing interest and a desire to continue seeing one another. Any girl who gets upset over having future plans with someone she likes is just crazy.

The only thing I don’t like is guys who tell you they love you right away. Now THAT is wearing your heart on your sleeve and that definitely kills the fun. But bringing flowers or thinking to the future? That stuff is fine.

I think guys should express interest, get into her head, but just dont over do it.

If you say the love word too early, that's not cool. But if you just be yourself and get excited about seeing her, she will get excited about seeing you. Pretend its like a teeter totter, one push, then let her respond, good response? then give her a little bit more, until you are finally happily playing in the playground together.

Spilling one's heart out too early on certainly can ruin things because it shows:

Neediness. You need her approval about all those personal things, and too soon after meeting, this makes you come off like you don't have a support network to confide in or the emotional intelligence to deal with problems in life.
Insecurity. There can be a sense of urgency here, ironically based on the self-fulfilling fear that she'll leave soon, but maybe trying to expedite emotional connection by oversharing will work. It never does.

It's not about putting one's cards on the table. Being direct and clear about what one wants, is FINE. Ideal, even.

The problem is that insecurity, fear, and neediness taint whatever someone does, driving the girl away.
