It's hard to give good advice without specific examples, but it sounds like you may have a problem with listening and empathizing. Often people (everyone, not just hot girls) just want someone to listen to them and feel their struggle - they're not necessarily looking for advice. Sometimes you just need to listen - intently. Listening to understand, not listening to respond.

What you CAN do, rather than saying, "don't worry about it," is to then take the opportunity (once they're done speaking) to mention a time that something similar happened to you, or something that made you feel the same way. This is how you build connection.

Sounds like you add trivializing their problems when you say "just let it go" and especially when you say "it doesn't matter." Acknowledge that the issue is important to them, even if it is objectively trivial. Ask them why they are upset or whatever and let them realize on their own that it's not worth worrying about.

It's simple. When women offload problems onto you, they aren't looking for advice or solutions. They are looking for a sympathetic ear. That's it.

So.. be a good listener. Of course, if somebody is constantly offloading shit onto you and bringing you down then either tell them to stop it or cut them out of your life.
