Some of them don't.

Until I winged my lesbian friend then they're like wow you're a pick up artist. I'm like DUH, I told you. I'm not good though, it's just easy to wing lesbian for some reason..

Some admire my courage but overall I don't really care either.

Recently I'm helping an old highschool friend to overcome his depression by telling him my journey and that I started out focusing on inner game. He started to workout now, following my advice, and going to try to talk to people and make friends. He moved to another state with no friends.

I also made tons of friends in the PUA community and I also advised my highschool friend to find a wingman online.

We're doing this for ourselves (inner game I guess) and to better ourselves as a person imo.

my friends don't only not understand, but one of them even goes so far as to tell me that the entire approach is wrong, and only by being a clingy supplicant can one achieve success with women.

he's never had a relationship last more than 3 months, so i don't know why he feels like such an expert, but it's pretty damn hilarious to see the look on his face when i pull a number in under two minutes or bring home two different girls on friday and saturday respectively.

You say this like it is a bad thing. Any friend worth their salt should understand that going from a depressed insecure guy with asperger to a "player" who takes the girls home is a huge change that is not easily achieved and requires a huge commitment to personal change. If it is a friend they don't have to agree with your choices, but at the very least they should respect that.

However, there are a lot of misconception about players/seduction/whatever and maybe they have no clue about your personal goals. So my question would be, did you actually try to talk with them about what you go through and try to achieve.

Don't talk about seduction or explain techniques or the community, talk about you and what you want to change about yourself.

Tell them that you were not happy. Tell them you were sick of always being the sidekick in life.

So you took charge and decided to change.

Once that is clear, explaining that your personal improvement tool is seduction and that it isn't scary or misogynistic becomes a lot easier and chances are that they at least get that there is more to it than just wanting to get the girls.

My friends don't even know that I do this. To them it's just me being me. I guess I do it because it is fun, an outlet for me to be both creative and disciplined at the same time. I see it as a way to bring a bit of happiness to someone else's life by engaging with them, no bullshit, just sharing a moment.

Aside from one or two of my closest friends, nobody knows I read about seduction. They've noticed that I'm more confident than I used to be and that I'm much better with women than I used to be

My guy friends think I'm king of the wingmen - one of them credits me with getting him into his new relationship

My girl friends have all noticed I'm much more sociable with random strangers and that I can walk up to a girl with relative ease and have her tongue in my mouth five minutes later. It probably helps that they've propagated a few beneficial rumors about me too...

I hate to quote Morpheus here, but "My beliefs do you require them to."

I don't talk to them about it. I just go do it. I've got some friends who understand. Some who wouldn't. (I usually don't share much of my personal life with these people.) And I've got some who understand but would try to cock-block me so I keep them out of the loop, too.

But at the heart of it, I don't have to hide much when I'm out with friends. I'm just social, in general, when I'm out, whether my friends are with me or not. I don't change anything. But I usually game at night, while solo. I go solo because I realized that my social circle was holding me back.

Is there any reason you are concerned about your friends not understanding this? I could understand why your friends in relationships wouldn't be interested, but how many of them are single and don't want to be? Wouldn't those friends be interested in this?

My friends don't know I do this and I frankly don't care to tell them. They suck so hard at getting girls that any advice I give them is like talking to a brick wall. They are really cool guys but have terrible AA, are horrible in conversation, etc... The worst part is they pull a chick once in a blue moon so they think they're "doing fine."
