I've been going to house parties for a pretty long time, and if you don't know anyone there it will be uncomfortable. So, I try to find things to do but doing stuff isn't going to do anything, you have to socialize. Make comments, or comment on what others are talking about. What I like to do if there is absolutly no connection to anyone, I'll just say " Hey, I'm new around here. Whats your/your guys names?" Make jokes, introduce yourself, make light fun of people, start conversations, and most of all don't think about it so much.

You're being outcome independent. You're going to house parties with only vagina on your mind. Go there to have a good time, and if you leave with a girl, awesome. If you don't, who cares.

I'm also a freshmen in college and relatively new to house parties. I've found the best way to open a group of just girls is to compliment one of them on something they're wearing then go from there. If the group is mixed, just start up a conversation with one of the guys about something on campus then slowly introduce yourself to the group. This is what I do, never has anyone been rude or unkind to me. Hope this helps!

Use your friend as an introduction. When you go to house parties, start with what you're comfy with and go from there. So chat up guys, make some new buddies. Find some dudes you have things in common with, guys you could potentially hang out with without being at a function your roomie invited you to.

Being social opens up new social circles for you to hang out in, and when you can walk up to a mixed group and greet two or three people in a circle of 8, the rest of the circle sees that you're a cool person and will react to you much better.

You just have to create more opportunities that last. Instead of looking to go and open up conversation with a girl you like, try to open up conversation with the group that she's in. Don't start out focused on her, focus on becoming part of a new group. Once you're in the group, she's going to be alot more friendly to your advances. Play a longer game and make a ton of new friends, try to blow your contacts list on your phone sky high with people you like and think you can hang with.

I am a house party animal and all you gotta do is say hi chat or ask me to dance. Don't creep though. Those guys are super weird.

Just go up to the first girl you see and say the most ridiculous thing that enters your mind. Don't wait for her to react. Just walk away. Rinse and repeat. You will instantly become the life of the party, and the guy that everyone knows.

I find having an optimistic and out-going attitude helps tremendously regardless of what you say. Look for things you can comment on and work off of that. It doesn't matter what it is or who you say it to as much as how you deliver it. As Zaxneo suggested, commenting on clothing or accessories is a great opener with ladies because most will have put a fair bit of thought into what they chose to wear for the evening. However, if you stumble up to a group with a "h-h-hey, that's kind of a nice watch, you know?" it will be awkward. Remember, delivery means a lot!

Jesus there's so many ways to open hoes at a party

One of my favs is just going up to them and being "Really!? REALLY? Forreal right now? Seriously?"

Theyre usually like "wtf what?" or "YA SERIOUSLY!"

Then you just say "Just kidding. I'm fritsclama. Let's fuck shit up"
