I mean, if she texts or calls you, you don't want to purposely tune her out. I'd say keep the convo very light. Keep the interesting topics for when youre in person.

Don't over-think it. She just means that she wants to talk a little in between now and then.

I've been taught between here and similar coaches, it's been to lock in the date and say absolutely nothing until then, unless it's logistical.

-sigh- You don't have to be a robot. The point of this rule is that you shouldn't be letting your inbox or your phone rule you're life. You should have shit to do. You shouldn't be sitting on your phone like a Momma bird warming an egg, waiting for messages to come through.

But if someone sends a message, there's nothing wrong with replying, even if it isn't logistics. Just don't try to replace a normal interaction with tons of texting.

This is why I don't listen to much advice from coaches. People aren't a fucking equation where you do one thing and it leads to the same result all the time! I legitimately face palmed reading this line. If a girl wants to talk between dates, talk between dates. It's all different and it's a matter of how often you respond. Don't fucking sit by your phone and respond immediately all the time. That's it.

Again, all women are different!

Well. The point of it is to establish and keep a connection. The girl seems genuinely interested in you. So its not a bad thing at all. If the flow of it dictates some conversation, take it in and go with it. She is trying to learn you as well

This is a misinterpretation. Don't be so rigid about rules - use common sense.

You should not be texting her for anything other than logistics (surely there will be exceptions, so again, use commons sense). HOWEVER, if she texts you in between, then obviously answer - it's rude to ignore people. But don't get sucked into having long, drawn out conversations. There are several reasons for this:

Incessant texting kills mystery. You want her to wonder about you and what you are doing.
The more you text her, the more you increase the chances of saying something that totally turns her off and fucking things up for yourself.
High value people have busy, interesting lives. They don't have time to be having conversations over text. By engaging in text conversations, you're signaling either that you don't have anything else going on (bad) or that out of everything you do have going on, she is already your top priority (also bad).
You build attraction through in person interactions, though not by reading messages on a screen. So save those conversational topics for when you actually see her.

So if she texts you, respond, but keep it limited to a few back and forth texts before telling her you're busy and you gotta go. Also, spacing out your responses (which is what someone would do if they were busy with something important) really puts a kibosh on a conversation, so use that in your favor.

I 100% agree, relationships are built in person and not over text. Texting is primarily for setting dates. However from my experience, a girl will absolutely drop you if she thinks you are ignoring her. This is how I handle these situations:

Reply back within a reasonable amount of time. Keep the responses light-hearted, flirty and "value added" fun. Keep the conversation going back and forth a bit (a few exchanges). When you want to stop the conversation, just tell her "Hey I'm in the middle of [insert whatever you are doing], but let's pick this back up when I'm done?" Basically just communicate what you're doing right now and give a reason why you have to pause the texting. Start back up the text with something fun, light hearted and flirty.

Rinse and repeat.
