I think the best way to explain how to make Seddit work for you is to explain what Seddit isn't very good at.
Seddit isn't good at answering "What do I do about this one girl?" type questions, and we regularly delete these. The reason Seddit isn't good at this is because (1) the person asking the question typically doesn't provide anything close to all the relevant information, and rarely answers when someone asks for extra information to help give advice. And, (2) we don't know. Even with all the relevant information, an honest answer will take the form of "probably," "maybe," or "probably not." We might be able to tell you if you're closer to a 70% chance or a 30% chance, but that's it. The only person who knows if she'll say yes you ask her out is the girl. The person with the second best guess is you, since you have a lot more of the details, have seen her body language, heard her tone of voice, etc. All we're able to do is make a guess based on trends we've seen in our own lives.
Seddit is also not very good at answering questions about specific lines and routines. "Hey guys, I thought of this joke, do you think it'll be a good opener?" The answer is generally the same: it works if you say it well, have good body language, confidence, eye contact, etc. If you mumble it behind her back and immediately walk off, not so much." What Seddit can't do is tell you if you'll do a good job with the line. The only way to find that out is to go out, open a bunch of sets, and use it over and over, keeping track of when it works and when it doesn't, and what the differences in the sets were.
So what's left? I'd say the best thing Seddit is good at dealing with is specific sticking points. You can open sets, but have problem getting them to hook -- they lose interest after about 5 minutes. Or you can get numbers, but have a huge flake rate. You get to D3s, but have no idea how to turn the mood more sexual. Basically, Seddit is good at helping you when you have a specific problem you regularly encounter. We can answer those questions because of how the question is formed, "What generally works in this situation?" Now you've got an abstract question (not "this specific girl") and our answers based on general trends in our experiences are now relevant.
But that's only part of the explanation for why Seddit is good at sticking point questions. The bigger reason is because of the type of person who asks them. In order to have a sticking point, and remember, I've defined it as a problem you regularly encounter, you have to be out in the field a lot, making a lot of approaches. Advice often fails the first time you use it because it takes some getting used to. You're changing your game, feel awkward, etc. You need time to break it in a bit. The guys who are going out regularly, opening lots of sets, they're the ones who can actually make use of the advice.
And that leads in to what I think is the most important thing you can do if you want to make Seddit work for you: You have to already be working at it. Sitting at home watching video after video, reading through forums, asking for advice on yet another book, and trying to improve your OKCupid profile isn't working at it. Working at it is going out in the field and making approaches.
