Would you say that the world described in Brave New World was bad? In case you haven't heard of it, people in that book are drugged, distracted and entertained to the point where nobody actually learns anything other than what they need to work. Would you say this is a "bad" world? Remember, people are happy.

My point is this: people who support the culture that article is explaining are just selfish. They are selfish in the way a freshman is happy that all the girls around him are sluts. He doesn't think good of them, he doesn't think of them as good people, but since they are willing to give him pussy, he's happy and doesn't complain.

They are not wrong. They're just assholes.

It's not that living like that would be a bad idea. If everyone is happy and sex is given freely, what's the problem? No more taboos, no more relationship problems, no more jealousy, no more envy... And yet the same people who support such a system are ONLY thinking about what they can get out of it, instead of what the collective (the people) can get out of it.

Being "Sex Positive" to the point where those things you mention are easily justifiable is simply another way of saying "I wanna have sex without consequences". The people who say something like this is awesome are just so selfish they're willing to hurt other people and not feel guilt about it.

We should just ignore stuff like this. This sub is giving them free publicity and they just don't deserve that. These are people willing to destroy, so they can do whatever they want.

You forgot the main reason for "getting rich". In a culture where paternity is more or less assured, i.e., largely monogamous, a man has incentive to provide for his - not the git of some slut - offspring. I've heard that a lot and it's such a load of shit. Nobody is THAT sex-starved that they'll start a company and become successful just so they can get laid.

For example, look at the intellectual/societal push that occurred during the Renaissance. All that innovation and growth was occurring in a puritan society (highly religious and conservative).

I highly highly doubt incest was an acceptable part of the culture. Incest seems to be one of the few universal cultural taboos, humans have known for a long long time now that it produces retarded and deformed babies.

Tribal cultures were often painted as deviants by their white Christian discoverers.
