A year and a half ago, my first ever girlfriend in years and I broke up. I wasn't terribly heartbroken over it but, it left me "distant" from the opposite sex over the next month.

I took this one girl on a date. We tried setting up a second dating, but it conflicted with her schedule, and I never allowed for it to happen, because I felt she was giving me the run around.

A few months later, I finally work up the courage to say on facebook that we should hang out again. She doesn't really respond to it, but she "pokes me". I return from the bar later (intoxicated) that night to see the poke. I get a little "offended" because I like this girl, and was tired of getting the run around. So I send her some stupid e-mail saying along the lines of "you shouldn't poke somebody unless you really mean it". Retarded I know.

However, a few days later, I see her at the bar, and she says hi to me and seems kind of excited to see me. However, all I can think of was that dumb e-mail, so I go up to her and apologize. She kind of laughs about it and says she was completely confused by it. However, I swallow whatever pride I had, feeling completely embarrassed, turn around and walk away...never to speak to her again.

It wasn't until later that I realized that "turning around and leaving" was the most idiot, confusing message ever. I am too embarrassed to approach her in person (if I ever see her again), and on facebook, I ask a casual question on her photos, but she never responds.

What I want to know seddit, is there any way to recover from this atrocity and seduce this girl again?
