Dont appologize. You can still be awkward. Treat her like an old friend or a little sister, lots of playful physical contact. Keep repeating things like: "wow you are too adorable", "you are my new little sister", "im totally adopting you", "you are awesome im going to hook you up with some of cool friends" etc... hope that helps.

Befriend her, it will drive her fucking nuts and her friends will be impressed. But, her friends are not going to touch you unless theres no way anyone will find out.
