I was just wondering what you guys thought of using your facebook friends as social proof? I don't have a lot of Facebook friends, like 50 and most of the girls I know have hundreds. So, I've been kind of eager to add people. How much do you think this matters? I think it matters a little bit. I mean it's something I could easily explain well if they ask. But, no one really asks. And it would be lame to just bring up why you don't have so many Facebook friends. :/

EDIT: I'm NOT looking for a debate on whether or not Facebook is the best communication option.

EDIT: Just thinking, I think it might be easier for a guy not to use Facebook so much... it is kind of a chick thing. But, my issue, is that I'm a chick too, and I sort of need to be a part of the local lesbian community. I can't very easily pick-up in regular life. It's one of the sucky things about being gay. It's clubs, bars, online. Sure when I become a good PUA I'll be able to pick up in regular life more, that's one of my goals. But, in the meantime, I need to be somewhat socially active on Facebook to keep contact with people and know about the parties and new clubs.
