You haven't built attraction or made her feel comfortabke enough with you to get the digits. FB is a partial blowoff, although ironically it may give you more information about her than a phone number.

Personally, I think girls who do this are dumb, but whatever. It just means, in part, that you have to have a game-able FB profile and also that you need to figure out what you're not doing right in your personal intereactions.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: If you're not getting the number, you're not getting the girl.

I just laugh and say, "Nah, I don't really do facebook except for actual close friends, you know? I just met you, and I'm not sure I like you that much." And then eject, unless she then volunteers the number. But she's not a particularly good lead at this point, anyway, so even if she changes her tune, it's probably gonna be a no when you text her later.

This gives her all the control of communications. She can friend you on facebook and hide your comments, so you never know she's ignoring you.

If she does this (or email, or "doesn't give out her number"), you have pretty much already failed. I would never accept it, just laugh in a dismissive way and say "forget it".
