Girl complains about creeper guy. Best approach in this situation?

I've had this happen once, so the sample is pretty small. Anyways, I ended up relating to her over it ("omg I know exactly what you mean. Some girls are so dumb, they just don't take hints") and we hit it off pretty well.

Sounds like filler on her part = mostly irrelevant. It is a bit negative though, so don't be interested, or segway into something positive, like a conversation about how people with choices like you two, act differently then people without them..

I think it's more a DHV on her part, than an IOI. Definitely a good initial reaction, sounds like she's trying to make sure you are not that kind of guy. What she is essentially saying when translated is "I'm someone desirable that guys lose their heads over"

she is trying to demonstrate value, but you can utilize it as a shared experience. immediately segue into a story about how the same exact thing happened to you last night/last week/whenever.

you are in essence showing that you're not impressed by her value-building story because you experience the same thing all the time. this also a better rapport-building shared experience than simply saying "me too me too me too" when she mentions her boring interests or something like that.

EDIT: Also this could make a good transition into an opinion story, in which you ask her about whether it's better to simply stop texting back, or directly tell the guy that you're not interested. that's actually one of my favorite little stories for when i need something to talk about.

"i always wonder how long until i should just tell them that i'm not interested! yea but what if they take it personally? yea but what if they don't get the message any other way? yea but what if they start hounding you on facebook too?" etc etc etc. Easy conversation.

tell her a dhv story about how you go staulked by a girl you met at a party for weeks. it's not too surprising to women either. believe me, desperation is not just a guy thing.

"you know, i had this happen to me a few months ago. met these two girls at my friend's -insert type- party, and we hung out at the party and whatnot. i decided she wasn't my type (DHV), went on with me life. She/they didn't get my number, and started calling my friend who hosted the party. Long story short, they staulked me for weeks before I finally had to break out the bad news to them. lol"

I hate conversations about exes, but conversations about creeper/stalkers are good for some reason. I always use it as an opportunity to bring up crazy girls I've known or my friends have known. It re-assures the girl that you are not crazy.
