Anything that is you doing something to trigger different than normal behavior in the girl is a "compliance test". If she does what you want, then the result is positive, and it means keep going.

Tell her to give you a hug. Take her hand. Drag her somewhere else. Put your hand briefly on her knee or leg or shoulder or arm or across her lower back and hip. Pet her. Tell her to do something. Pull her pigtails.

Verbally, it's just a matter of how polite she's being. If she's still giving you shit tests, you're still early in the attraction. If she's being very sweet and friendly then she's "compliant", and the attraction building stuff can be relaxed a bit, and you can move on to rapport and comfort building.

But, don't get caught up in all the specific stuff, like compliance tests. After you've gotten a little bit of practice with it, you can sort of forget about the specific techniques.

If you're always escalating, always being flirty and fun, always being bold and assertive, you'll internalize the right behaviors with practice.

I have used what I call the "M Test" recently.

I put my shoe up on a barstool or whatever and point to the girl. "Come here. Tie my shoe. Seriously, tie my shoe."

If she does then I tell her "Cool, you passed the M test." Which means she's an M (submissive) and not an S (dominant).

You can then parlay this by disqualifying yourself. "Damn, I only hook up with submissive girls." or "Too bad I only date dominant girls."

The whole thing is sexually-charged and very alpha.

I don't do a ton of explicit compliance testing. The ones I do use often are getting her to hold my drink/coat, getting her to give me a light, getting her to buy me drinks, getting her to scratch my back, or getting her to ask random people stupid questions.

Just ask her to do things for you:

Pick up something you dropped, scratch a certain area on your back that you can't reach, try to fit her fist in her mouth, get you a drink, etc.

Everything in pickup is a compliance test. You are constantly testing the girl's level of compliance.
