You never never want to talk about other women you're seeing. Ever. No matter how open she theoretically is, once you actually confirm to her that you are seeing someone else, those words start to run a loop in her mind.

Part of this is that her friends are asking her how serious it is with you two. If you say that you're seeing someone else, her friends will tell her to break up with you.

Your best bet is to joke it off. When she asks if you're seeing other people say:

"About 30 or 40."

"You got me. Suzie, come out of the closet!"

"Is this a marriage proposal?"

By refusing to answer, you are communicating to her that you aren't at the point that you want to talk about your relationship. And by joking, you are letting her know that you don't feel guilty about it.

If she keeps pressing you, you can say that you aren't ready to be exclusive and when you are, that's when you'll talk about it.

But you're better off joking it off for as long as possible.
