One of the biggest pieces of feedback I've been receiving from people who listen to audio of me talking to girls (here if you're interested) is that I speak very quickly, high pitched, that I'm talking over her and not just letting the conversation flow. The last few days I've been specifically trying to speak more slowly with a deeper tone and to be more relaxed, but my approach to this is nothing more than "catching" and "reminding" myself over and over. It's not consistent enough to create any meaningful change. Anyone have a tactic or thought on instilling a genuine habit of quality voice control?
