Went to a bar with a huge group of friends/acquaintances. I think we made up 30-40% of the people there. I figure that gave me huge social proof. I was opening a couple of strangers, mostly mixed sets. It went well. At the end of the night, the whole bar kind of died and it was pretty empty.

I saw two cute girls sitting at a booth talking to each other. I went over there and opened and talked to them for about 3 minutes. They were making constant eye contact with me. At the end of the conversation, I got the feeling that they kind of wanted me to leave because they were leaving hints like, "Maybe we'll see you next time you come here" and if I was talking to one, the other would kind of look around as if to find something interesting to look at. The one I was talking to was giving me very nice eye contact while I talked to her though. Keep in mind I was kind of rotating which one I was speaking to. I would make a statement to one, get a reply and then ask a question to the other then repeat. Perhaps I should have tried to isolate one instead of entertained both? I ejected myself before we exchanged names.

On the bright side, I'm good with openers but I suck at hooking and I definitely hooked that conversation. I should have teased more and talked about more emotional stuff, but that will be easier to work on once I get more comfortable hooking.
