I met this girl from OKC on Friday at an Italian restaurant, we had a great time, good kino, good banter, negging, etc. Anyway, we end up going back to my place, things get physical, we get to my bed, we make out, I finger her to orgasm (unfortunately, she didn't reciprocate). The date ended well.

I talk to her the next day, Saturday, and she invites me to come walk some dogs with her late at night (part of her job), so I accept. We walk, talk, still keeping up the kino, and we were joking around about her breaking her rule about not getting physical quickly. After she's done walking the dogs, we go grab some ice cream. She runs into a client of hers whose dog just died, so she got a little emotional, so I gave her a hug and switched subjects. Overall, it went really well as a nice date, I didn't invite her over since she had quite a bit to do, but she wanted to do something fun "tomorrow" (yesterday, Sunday).

I was down, I had a free day, so I offered to take her rock climbing, BMX'ing and trail walking at this park not too far from my house. Unfortunately, it started to rain. We tossed around ideas of things to do and eventually settled on going to a movie (Friends with Benefits). I suggested grabbing a bite to eat first, to which she agreed, and we set a time for 4:30 at the restaurant, because the movie was for 6:10.

Anyway, she gets caught up with work and doesn't get there until 6:00! During this time, I had called her a few times and she'd tell me she was caught up with work and she was really really sorry. When she finally gets there, we take our food to go so we can eat it in the theater.

So, here we are, the first 20 minutes of the movie, we're eating salad. Ugh. I'm already in a pretty shitty mood because I see this whole day going down the tube. She's not really down to get any kind of physical in the theater, past holding my hand in her lap.

We exit the theater, she calls a guy that was supposed to come fix her windshield and when it's time for us to part ways, she gives me the open-side hug. I say to her, "that's all I get?" to which she replied something about needing to feel the right time to kiss.

So, all in all, the first two dates weren't bad for what they were. The third, I feel, should have been postponed. Three dates in three days is ridiculous and I'll never do that again. As much as I feel I should have been more upset about her being egregiously late, I do have to consider that she is self-employed and had unexpected work to deal with. Still, she should have been the one calling me. Also, proper manners would indicate that she should have offered to pay for the meal, especially since I was paying for the movie. I probably should have kept up energy after the movie (looking back, saying "that's all I get?" is a beta phrase).

So, for the third date, I was certainly a chump. I should have just canceled and rescheduled for later. Any other suggestions, Sedditors?
